Applied Economics Research Centre (AERC), the University of Karachi and the Social Policy and Development Centre (SPDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct joint research studies on emerging issues related to economic and social development in Pakistan. Prod. Dr. Nooreen Mujahid, Director, AERC, and Mr. Muhammad Asif Iqbal, Managing Director, SPDC, signed the MoU at AERC, University of Karachi.
Dr. Nooreen Mujahid said that the MoU would pave the way for developing a long-term relationship between the two institutions to promote collaborative research and enhance knowledge on issues surrounding the national development goals. Mr. Iqbal stated that this partnership emphasizes the determination of the two institutions to work together and leverage their comparative advantages to support high-quality research in Pakistan.
